The itinerary begins with an evening introduction to the Armenian capital before continuing to some of the country’s most remarkable cultural and natural destinations. Visit the ruins of Zvartnots, the spiritual centre of Echmiadzin, Lake Sevan, the forested landscapes of Dilijan, the monasteries of Goshavank and Haghartsin, Khor Virap with its iconic view of Mount Ararat, the Areni region, Noravank, Garni and Geghard.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Yerevan
Meet your Yeraz Travel representative at Zvartnots International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time to rest and prepare for the journey ahead.
Evening Tour of Yerevan
Begin your introduction to Armenia with an evening tour of Yerevan, one of the world’s ancient cities. Walk through the city centre and discover Republic Square, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, Northern Avenue and other notable landmarks.
Continue to the Cascade Complex, known for its monumental stairway, fountains and open-air contemporary artworks. The complex also houses the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. After the tour, enjoy free time in the city.
Yerevan - Zvartnots - Echmiadzin - Yerevan
Travel from Yerevan to the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, an exceptional example of seventh-century Armenian architecture. The archaeological remains reveal the scale and complexity of the original circular cathedral.
Continue to Echmiadzin, the spiritual centre of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit the cathedral complex and learn about its role in Armenia’s Christian heritage before returning to Yerevan.
Yerevan - Sevanavank - Haghartsin - Goshavank - Yerevan
Travel to Lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank, the historic monastery standing above the lake on the peninsula.
Continue north through scenic mountain roads to Dilijan, a resort town surrounded by dense forests. Visit Goshavank, known for its medieval architecture and finely carved khachkars, followed by Haghartsin Monastery, hidden among the wooded landscapes of the region.
Return to Yerevan in the evening.
Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank - Yerevan
After breakfast, travel to Khor Virap, one of Armenia’s most recognised monasteries, famous for its dramatic view of Mount Ararat.
Continue to the Vayots Dzor region, known for Armenia’s ancient winemaking traditions. Visit Areni-1 Cave, also known as Bird’s Cave, where important archaeological discoveries connected with early winemaking were made.
The journey continues to Angel’s Canyon near Dashtakar village, an impressive natural area characterised by colourful rock formations and narrow gorges.
Visit Noravank Monastery, a remarkable medieval complex surrounded by red cliffs, before returning to Yerevan.
Free Day in Yerevan
Enjoy a free day to explore Yerevan at your own pace. Visit museums, discover local cafés and restaurants, shop for souvenirs or simply relax before the final excursion day.
Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
After breakfast, drive to the Kotayk region. Stop at Charents Arch for a panoramic view towards Mount Ararat.
Continue to the Azat Gorge and see the remarkable basalt formations known as the Symphony of Stones.
Visit the Temple of Garni, Armenia’s celebrated first-century pagan monument, and explore the surrounding fortress area.
Continue to Geghard Monastery, a medieval religious complex partly carved into the surrounding rock. When available, guests may experience traditional spiritual chants inside the monastery before returning to Yerevan.
Departure from Yerevan
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Zvartnots International Airport for departure.
