Tour Overview
Experience Armenia through an eight-day programme that balances cultural discovery with an active off-road adventure in the forested landscapes of Dilijan.
The journey introduces Yerevan’s museums, monuments, markets and celebrated brandy tradition before continuing to the spiritual landmarks of Zvartnots and Echmiadzin. A free day provides time for independent exploration.
The second half combines a 4x4 excursion to Aghavnavank, Jukhtak Monastery and Parz Lake with the dramatic scenery of Khor Virap, Areni, Angel’s Canyon, Noravank, Garni and Geghard.

Arrival in Yerevan
Meet your Yeraz Travel representative at Zvartnots International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time to rest and settle in.
Yerevan City Tour
After breakfast, discover Armenia’s capital with visits to the History Museum of Armenia, the Cascade Complex, Mother Armenia and Victory Park.
Continue to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, Matenadaran manuscript repository and Vernissage open-air market. Finish the day at a renowned Yerevan brandy factory with a guided tasting.
Yerevan - Zvartnots - Echmiadzin - Yerevan
Travel to the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, an exceptional achievement of seventh-century Armenian architecture.
Continue to Echmiadzin, the spiritual centre of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and explore the cathedral complex before returning to Yerevan.
Free Day in Yerevan
Enjoy a free day to explore Yerevan independently, visit additional museums, shop, discover local cafés or simply relax at the hotel.
4x4 Adventure - Aghavnavank - Jukhtak - Parz Lake
After breakfast, begin an off-road journey through the mountain and forest landscapes of Dilijan National Park.
Visit the medieval Aghavnavank monastic complex and Jukhtak Monastery, whose name refers to its pair of historic churches. Continue to Parz Lake, surrounded by woodland at approximately 1,400 metres above sea level. Time permitting, optional outdoor activities are available around the lake.
Return to Yerevan in the evening.
Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank - Yerevan
Visit Khor Virap, one of Armenia’s most iconic monasteries, with its celebrated view of Mount Ararat.
Continue through Vayots Dzor to Areni-1 Cave, associated with some of the world’s earliest evidence of winemaking. Explore the colourful formations of Angel’s Canyon near Dashtakar, then visit Noravank Monastery among the region’s red cliffs.
Return to Yerevan.
Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
Drive to the Kotayk region and stop at Charents Arch for a panoramic view towards Mount Ararat.
See the basalt formations of the Symphony of Stones in the Azat Gorge, visit the first-century Temple of Garni and continue to Geghard Monastery, partly carved into the surrounding rock. When available, experience traditional spiritual chants inside the monastery.
Return to Yerevan.
Departure from Yerevan
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Zvartnots International Airport for departure.
